Politics of Liechtenstein - Refugees Situation in The Principality

School/Professur:
Five International students of Liechtenstein University will share their knowledge and research outcome on the Refugee Crisis in Europe, with references to the situation in their home countries. The students from Ghana, Poland, Finland, Bulgaria and Russia started their research as part of the Module Introduction Week and are concluding their project work.

Particular emphasis will be made on the situation in the Principality of Liechtenstein: Insight of the country's Legislation System, Laws on refugees, Processes involved in being accepted as refugee in the country, Financial support, and Integration systems.

The team members will also talk about the general European Union politics on refugees and the role Liechtenstein is playing in finding a solution to the current crisis.

In understanding the current refugee situation, the team interviewed Dr. Thomas Zwiefelhofer - Deputy Prime Minister of Liechtenstein, Mr. Christoph Stockel - Coordinator Asylum Seekers Centre Vaduz, Mr. Panagiotis Potolidis-Beck - responsible of International Refugee and Migrations Assistance at the Liechtenstein's Office for Foreign Affairs - AAA.

The speakers, team coach and the dormitory team would be happy to welcome our guests with drinks.
